Over a 30 year career I have had the pleasure to work with some great Graphic Designers and recently I was contacted by London based designer Rashna Mody-Clarke to do the preliminary photography for the new Como Perth Treasury Hotel. The hotel takes up the greater part of the old Treasury Building on the corner of St. George’s Terrace and Cathedral Avenue in Perth. The buildings renovation is by Kerry Hill Architects and is part of a larger project that includes the new City of Perth Library, an Office Tower and Church House. At the time of photography, the hotel was still in the process of being fitted out but because of the need to advertise the Hotel and get advance bookings, I was brought in to shoot some of the completed rooms. The Hotel is very much a boutique establishment and no two rooms are essentially alike. The photograph shown here is of one of the Hotels bathrooms, all of which have been crafted in Italy and transported to Perth where they are then assembled on site.
